Vex Dungeon Quest

Dragons, Castles, and Robots! Students wield a “spell-book” to send commands (computer code) to their robot companion, directing it to complete the dragon's challenges. This program uses concrete resources to introduce the concepts of coding, programming and robotics to students in Years 3/4.
Vex Dungeon Quest is available through the following program types. Select a program type to view more information.
On-Site at Quantum Victoria
Students drive robots in 2D grids and apply sequential logic to reach specific goals. They learn to program the robots in two distinct ways and how to troubleshoot and refine commands when they make mistakes.
Their skills are put to the test in a final challenge where they must steal gems from dragons across eight unique dungeons. Students must plan, perform and improve their code to suit each dungeon, choosing their own level of difficulty from single-step commands to conditional programming.
Due to resource requirements, we can only accommodate one class (up to 28 students) per day.
