The STEM Through App Creation Teacher Professional Learning workshop is designed for Primary and Secondary Science, Mathematics and STEM Specialist Teachers.
Teachers attending this workshop will discover how easily apps can be created and used as a teaching tool to enhance the teaching and learning of STEM in primary and secondary classrooms.
No prior experience in app creation/coding is required.
Teachers will:
Explore how apps can be used to enhance learning in their classroom
Be introduced to block programming associated with the MIT App Inventor programming tool
Utilise the QV Design Thinking Framework to design, create and deploy an app
Explore alternative app development environments.

This PD in 2025 will be delivered in person only.
Cost inc GST: $175 per person if one teacher from school is attending; $150 per person if two or more teachers are attending either PD session (App Creation or 3D Printing). Morning Tea and Lunch will be provided.
