The STEM Through App Creation Teacher Professional Learning workshop is designed for Primary and Secondary Science, Mathematics and STEM/STEAM Specialist Teachers.
Teachers attending this workshop will discover how easily Apps can be created and used as a teaching tool to enhance the teaching and learning of Science, Maths and STEM/STEAM in Primary and Secondary classrooms.
No prior experience in App creation is required.
Teachers will:
Explore how Apps can be used to enhance learning in their classroom
Be introduced to programming associated with the App Inventor Programming tool
Utilise the QV Design Thinking Framework to design, create and deploy an App
Explore alternative App Development Environments

This series of four workshops will upskill Primary and Secondary teachers in basic programming concepts and block programming. Teachers will have a deeper understanding of how to incorporate app development authentically into their teaching practice. The Programming and App Creation Teacher Professional Learning workshop is designed for Primary and Secondary Teachers of all disciplines. Teachers attending this workshop will discover how easily Apps can be created and used as a teaching tool to enhance teaching and learning.

Cost: $60 per teacher
