Secondary STEM through App Inventor

Students are guided through the 'App Creation Process' which equips them with basic programming knowledge and the following key programming concepts:

• Event handlers

• Variables

• Conditionals

• Loops

Students use their acquired programming knowledge and the Quantum Victoria Design Thinking Framework to design and create their own apps.

Places are limited with a maximum number of 10 Year 7 - 8 students per school.

This event is free for Victorian government schools, funded by the Department of Education.
