Developing a Primary Science Program

Teachers will engage in a practical, confidence-building professional learning day focused on designing a primary science program aligned with the Victorian Curriculum 2.0. The workshop will introduce participants to key Department of Education resources, model units, and high-quality supplementary materials that support effective planning and hands-on inquiry learning. Through guided exploration, collaborative planning, and ready-to-use strategies, teachers will strengthen their understanding of science concepts and develop the skills to deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned science lessons with confidence.
