These Revision Courses will enable students to explore fields, electrical energy, motion & energy and Einstein's Theory of Relativity as identified in the study design.

The four Revision Courses for this unit are as follows:

Physics Unit 3 AOS 1

Students will use interactive activities including simulations, videos and apps, to investigate fields through the following chapters:

  • Fields and interactions

  • Effects of fields

  • Application of field concepts

Physics Unit 3 AOS 2

Students will use interactive activities including simulations, videos and apps, to investigate electrical energy through the following chapters:

  • Generation of electricity

  • Transmission of electricity

Physics Unit 3 AOS 3 - Motion components

Students will use interactive activities including simulations, videos and apps, to investigate motion and energy through the following chapters:

  • Newton's laws of motion

  • Relationships between force, energy and mass

Physics Unit 3 AOS 3 - Special relativity components

Students will use interactive activities including simulations, videos and apps, to investigate Einstein's Theory of Relativity by:

  • Comparing the theory of special relativity with the principles of classical physics.

  • Using the theory of special relativity to study objects travelling at very high speeds.
