Students are able to revisit the skills acquired during the Synchronous 3D Modelling and Design lessons, and extend their learning in the of Fusion 360 to produce a model that can be printed.
This module provides students with resources to review content studied during the Synchronous 3D Modelling and Design lessons. Video demonstrations assist students as they engage with additional content to further build proficiency in the use of Fusion 360 to create 3D designs.
Using the knowledge and skills acquired, students are introduced to printing, and are required to take their learning from the digital space and consider the limitations and the practicality of designs in the real world. A design challenge is included in this module that allows students to create 3D models and consider manufacturing options.
Students will need to have completed the Secondary Synchronous Outreach - 3D Modelling and Design before engaging with the module.
