Two places are available during Education Week on Monday 24th May.

Primary schools are invited to register one class group to participate in Minecraft Year 5-6.

Secondary schools are invited to register one class group to participate in QCI Year 7-10.

About Minecraft

Grade 5 and 6 Students will investigate the impacts of first contact with European settlement on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, their land and how the landscape changed in response to the arrival of Europeans and their animals and the ability to continue traditional practices, adapt and survive when faced with colonial settlement. The activity promotes building connections between our First Nations People through the lens of sustainability in a Minecraft world. This program also aligns with National Reconciliation Week 2021 (27th-3rd of May).
